The Lake District's stunning scenery of high fells and valley lakes is a landscape photographers dream. With modern digital cameras it is fairly easy just to point it anywhere in the lakeland and obtain a decent picture without any knowledge of theory and practical technique.
However by learning a little about photographic technique and post processing , and
understanding and interpreting the landscape, prevailing light conditions and the changing seasons you can impove your photographs by miles.
Taking a short course can help. The other problem is looking for the best spots to photograph from. Well perhaphs one of the many coach or photo tours around the lakes might help.
